U.K.I done
My latest contributions to Shulea Cheang "U.K.I" feature film, by March 2022.
The movie has been released during summer 2023, premiered at Musée National d'Art Moderne, Paris, Museum of Modern Art, NY, amongst other prestigious venues. Shu Lea Cheang has been awarded LG Guggenheim prize 2024! The jury stated: "Drawing inspiration from science-fiction literature and film as well as gaming, Cheang’s projects and experimentations in the fields of art and technology present a fascinating overview of advanced technologies."
A bunch of assets commissioned by the artist: a gramophone, scale, owen, various mushrooms, jars filled with moisture, kimchi, zhacaï, tofu... and even a snake!
New assets and level design.
Featuring an animated glowing cow!
The movie poster (I'm credited as "technical director).
Among several creation steps along the years, here is a great souvenir of a mocap performance at Shedhalle (Zürich), that ended in a crazy dance floor!
Music performed by Area Negrot (RiP).
